Mountain Retreat

Once a year I go up Mt Hotham in Victoria for a week, on retreat with a group. We bring our own food and cook for ourselves, sometimes together sometimes separately, except for the first night when I cook for us.

We have this year nominated September 20 – 28 as our retreat dates.

Reach out to me for more information if you would like to join us. There will be writing, discussion, walks, the occasional pizza or chips at the General Store, readings, good food and a roaring fire.

We are the only ones who will inhabit the two-story lodge with its extensive kitchens and open areas, and you would only come if you have something to work on as there will be no formal workshop sessions, or mentoring unless that is separately organised. If you would like this option we would need to talk about how it would work best for you.

This year aside from our individual projects we are going to make a little movie. This was inspired by some fabulous photographs James took of Niru in the misty dark when they went for a late walk. If you are up there and into it, we will co opt you to help, either to act or to help in some other way.

This year we will also have a zoom songwriting session, which is also free to all my Patreon supporters. The cost of the workshop is also discounted for all Patreon supporters who have been with me for 6 months or more.
